You and your classmates are in gym class, and Mr. Howarth allows you to choose your own teammates to play softball. James, a boy in your class, is telling all the kids to not pick April, a girl in your class.  It is your turn to pick.  You and April have been getting along very well lately, but she still is considered a dork by the other kids.  You really want to pick her for your team, but you know that the other kids will make fun of you, the same way they make fun of April.  James, is looking at you like this decision is either going to make you a cool kid, or a dork like April.  What are you going to do? 

Write a paragraph about what you would do in this situation, and explain why you chose the actions you did.
