 Kelly Barron has been teaching third grade at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Complex since 1998.
She graduated Penn State University with a degree in Journalism and minor in African American Studies. She worked in radio and for public television before entering the teaching field.
Before teaching third grade, Kelly taught Life Skills and GED classes to adults. She also taught in a juvenile justice program for incarcerated teenagers.
She likes to read, swim and dance.
