The Atlantic City School system is committed to infusing technology across the curriculum. As a result, each Star-W classroom is rich in technology resources, some of which were in place before the implementation of the Star-W grant. The grant allowed for the expansion of the hardware and software resources, but more importantly, it provided much needed funds for quality professional development.
The professional development provides teachers with hand-on training and the implementation of software that is driven by curricular needs rather than simply being skills based.
