Cinco de Mayo
The fifth of May
Mexico's national holiday is called Cinco de Mayo. It honors the 1862 battle in which Mexican troops were outnumbered three to one and still defeated the invading French troops of Napoleon III. This holiday is celebrated by having parades, festivals, and dances everywhere!
